Job Description

We are looking for a Level 1 SOC Analyst to join Swyft’s Security Operations Center. In this role, you will monitor security logs, detect anomalies, and assist in responding to potential threats. You will work with SIEM tools, analyze alerts, and escalate issues to higher-level analysts. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity to grow your career in cybersecurity and gain hands-on experience with threat detection and response.

Responsibilities

Monitor real-time security alerts and logs using SIEM tools like Splunk, QRadar, or ELK.

Conduct initial triage of security events, determining the severity and scope.

Escalate complex incidents to Level 2 or Level 3 SOC Analysts for further investigation.

Follow incident response playbooks to contain and mitigate threats.

Assist in reporting on security events to internal stakeholders.

Maintain detailed incident logs for auditing and analysis.

Collaborate with other SOC team members to enhance detection capabilities.

Requirements

1+ year of experience in a SOC, IT support, or cybersecurity operations role.

Basic understanding of network security, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.

Familiarity with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, Elastic Stack, etc.).

Ability to analyze logs and recognize potential security incidents.

Strong communication skills to escalate issues effectively.

Industry certifications like CompTIA Security+ or EC-Council CEH preferred.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
