Job Description

We are looking for a Level 2 SOC Analyst to join our team in the Security Operations Center (SOC). In this role, you will investigate complex security incidents, provide in-depth analysis, and take proactive measures to prevent future threats. You will work with a wide range of tools and technologies to monitor and improve Swyft’s security defenses. If you're experienced with SIEM platforms and enjoy handling high-priority incidents, this position is for you.

Responsibilities

Conduct detailed investigations into security incidents across multiple environments.

Analyze and correlate data from multiple sources using SIEM tools like Splunk or QRadar.

Lead incident response efforts, coordinating with relevant teams to resolve security issues.

Develop and maintain incident response documentation, including detailed analysis and post-mortem reports.

Provide mentorship to Level 1 analysts and support in complex investigations.

Continuously improve and optimize the detection and response capabilities of the SOC.

Stay updated on emerging threats, attack methodologies, and advanced persistent threats (APTs).

Requirements

3+ years of experience in a SOC analyst or cybersecurity operations role.

Advanced proficiency with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar, LogRhythm) and log analysis.

Strong understanding of network protocols, IDS/IPS, and malware analysis.

Experience with incident response and threat hunting techniques.

Excellent communication skills for reporting and escalation purposes.

Industry certifications like GCIH, GIAC, or CISSP.

Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field.
