Job Description

We are seeking an Incident Response Analyst in the EU to lead investigations of security incidents, rapidly respond to threats, and minimize the impact on Swyft’s operations. You will analyze attack vectors, coordinate with other teams, and continuously improve our incident response procedures. If you have experience in handling complex security incidents and enjoy solving problems under pressure, this is the role for you.

Responsibilities

Lead the investigation of security incidents, including malware outbreaks, data breaches, and network intrusions.

Use forensic tools to analyze compromised systems and extract actionable intelligence.

Coordinate and collaborate with security teams, legal, and compliance during incident response efforts.

Develop and implement incident response plans, including detection, containment, and recovery strategies.

Conduct post-incident analyses to identify root causes, gaps in security, and areas for improvement.

Work with threat intelligence teams to gather TTP (Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures) data on new threats.

Develop and maintain incident response playbooks and documentation for ongoing training and readiness.

Stay informed on emerging threats and attack vectors to proactively improve Swyft’s defense posture.

Requirements

3+ years of experience in incident response, cybersecurity operations, or digital forensics.

Expertise with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, etc.), EDR/XDR solutions, and network traffic analysis.

Proficiency in forensic tools like EnCase, FTK, and Volatility for incident investigation and analysis.

Familiarity with EU data protection regulations (GDPR) and incident reporting requirements.

Strong knowledge of malware analysis, intrusion detection, and incident response methodologies.

Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and the security implications of each.

Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure environments during active incident investigations.

Industry certifications like GCIH, GCFA, or CISSP are a plus.

Fluent in English and at least one other European language preferred.
