Job Description

We are seeking a Network Operations Engineer to oversee Swyft’s data center infrastructure and ensure high availability. You will maintain and optimize network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement security best practices. This role requires expertise in networking, firewalls, routing protocols, and infrastructure security. If you excel at keeping mission-critical systems online and secure, join our team.

Responsibilities

Deploy, maintain, and optimize network infrastructure in Swyft’s data centers.

Troubleshoot network issues, ensuring 99.99% uptime for critical systems.

Implement security measures to mitigate intrusions, DDoS attacks, and unauthorized access.

Manage firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection systems, and network segmentation.

Optimize routing, switching, and network performance for scalability and efficiency.

Perform regular packet analysis, compliance audits, and vulnerability assessments.

Work with cybersecurity teams to strengthen overall network security.

Maintain documentation of network architecture, configurations, and security protocols.

Requirements

4+ years of experience in network operations, data center management, or security infrastructure.

Expertise in BGP, OSPF, VLANs, MPLS, SD-WAN, and enterprise networking.

Experience with Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, and Fortinet network hardware.

Proficiency in network monitoring tools (Wireshark, Nagios, Zabbix, etc.).

Familiarity with firewall policies, VPN configurations, and network automation (Ansible, Python, Bash).

Bachelor's degree in Network Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
